Which cosmetic procedures used will depend upon the conditions in your mouth. You will need to have a good foundation and healthy gums to proceed with a Smile Makeover.
If you are looking to dramatically improve the appearance of your smile, we will start with a cosmetic consultation appointment at Galleria Dentistry. Your dentist wants to hear what your concerns are. What do you like OR dislike about your smile? What do you want to change? Do you want some teeth longer, shorter, wider or whiter in color? Your dentist will go over all of these questions with you to see what you are looking for.
After learning about your smile concerns, your dentist will take photographs, review a smile book with different shapes of teeth and take impressions for study models. These study models will be sent to our cosmetic lab to create a wax up of your new smile.
When the wax up returns from the lab, your dentist will have you return to review your new smile. Your wax up is an excellent tool. You are able to evaluate if the size and shapes of the teeth are what you were looking for. The dentist can also evaluate if there will be any functional problems with the new look that needs to be addressed. Your dentist will work closely with you to develop a treatment plan that is designed to give you the Smile Makeover you desire.
